The short version. Gnap stores your email and the recipes you save. It does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not track you around the web. To read a link you paste, it sends that link to the services that download and interpret it. You can delete everything at any time, in two taps.

What is collected, and why

No advertising, no profiling, no third-party analytics. The only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in, which is technically necessary — that is why you are not asked to accept cookies.

Who else sees your data

To turn a social post into a recipe, Gnap has to pass it on:

Some of these are outside the European Union. Transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

How long it is kept

Your recipes stay for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, they are deleted with it — really deleted, not hidden. Payment records are kept by Stripe for the period tax law requires.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, export or erase your data, and object to its processing. Deletion is available directly in the app: Settings → Delete account. For anything else, write to the address above. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Children

Gnap is not intended for children under 14.
